As technology progress and we are offered more variety, choice and design, it has become clear that people all around the world are face the question; to get the much discussed iPhone or the President’s favorite- the Blackberry?

If you try using the iPhone and the BlackBerry side-by-side to determine which of them prove to be better in the long run, one can conclude was that the iPhone lacked in specific vital features that could never replace the BlackBerry as the current favorite of savvy users worldwide.

Users who send an email to a user account on a BlackBerry will find that the message is downloaded instantaneous and a LED will alert the user that he/she has received a new message. On the other hand, the iPhone only receives messages every 15 minutes and a user has to constantly check if their message has arrived. The downfall of this action is that it uses battery power since every time a user wants to check they have email, they need to perform that one extra step.

Besides some of the disadvantages of the Apple iPhone, One can consider the following reasons for preferring the BlackBerry to the iPhone:

  • BlackBerry keyboard easier to use than the iPhone keyboard.
  • Apple is famous for designing superior user interfaces, but it lacks the basic keyboard shortcuts that enables easy navigation between applications on the BlackBerry.
  • If you love the Safari Browser then the iPhone would do, but it loads much slower with simple text as opposed to the Blackberry.
  • The quality of the BlackBerry phone is better than the iPhone in general.
  • The IM contacts application provides an efficient way to keep in contact via multiple routes, whether you want to contact someone via Google Talk or Windows Live Messenger. Whatever route you choose, it sports a familiar interface that makes using it a breeze.
  • In the longevity between batteries, the BlackBerry win hands down. The iPhone uses more battery power to access more functions as opposed to the BlackBerry that preserves more battery power.

As for reliability, it has been proven in a study by a mobile phone warranty firm, that the BlackBerry is twice more likely to malfunction in the first year of use as opposed to the iPhone. However, you are more likely to experience problems with Apple iPhone’s touch screen and battery.

Apple iPhone or BlackBerry you choose! For me its Both of them. They are handsets one cannot do without! I prefer having both of them. ;)

BlackBerry and iPhone look equally stunning. iPhone vs BlackBerry I cannot decide!

The iPhone surely looks promising. With the newly software updated from Apple, the iPhone is getting better.

8 months later after using the BlackBerry and the iPhone I still prefer to carry both of them!

I have a Iphone and a Blackberry. As on using mails , being in touch through messenger , Blackberry rocks , of course iphone also has this features , but the best this is tht. on Blackberry this features are dirt cheap compared to iphones data services price. Go for the prosumer lite plan and u can acess 10 emails with unlimited download and unlimited talk on yahoo, gchat, msn, aim messengers for just rs 299 a month and trust me if u use Blackberry u will become and addict to it for its super fast service and ease of use.
