Foolish SEO Companies n Foolish Employees
Today there are more than 10 million SEO companies across the world. Everyday you may see a lot of Seo companies coming up!
People use job sites online to rope in people to work as a SEO manager or maybe a seo trainee. I myself get more than 10-20 calls in a month from different SEO companies in India who want me to join them as a SEO Manager.
During my recent visit to such companies and after having a look at their portfolio it makes me wonder, how can some call himself a seo or a seo company when they have zero knowledge about seo.
The problem with SEO basically is that they is no school/college/institution who teach people seo. People these days read some articles about SEO online, register a free blogspot domain, start some basic seo techniques and then think after a period of 1-2 months that they are ready to work as a seo manager or trainee under some seo company.
I was shocked to meet people who feel seo is all about directory & article submission, pagerank brings in traffic, one can achieve traffic or sales only using google adwords.
A lot of people in this seo field today are those who think that they know too much and are self proclaimed seo guru’s.
Those who know a lot about SEO, are freelancers or have opened up their own companies or are working with companies who offer them salary in terms of $$$$$ amount.
Seeing the current scenario of SEO companies and their employees, it makes me feel how ignorant are their clients and how they end up wasting a lot of money.
So if you are a individual who decides to get a search engine optimization done for your website, see the company whom you are working with. See what they have to offer you, ask them their working pattern, method used & success rate with portfolio.
….. Mood: Tired meeting self proclaimed seo’s knowing nothing! God bless them.

Yes, you are right. There are several companies around and the competition is high. Online marketing is a cheap form of marketing. But with competition hotting up, it may no longer remain that cheap. I think it gets self-regulated very soon
