These days every company is out with a new Usb drive and everyone has some different user needs to target and has different features too. Therefore it seems like LG has also joined the Usb market.

LG is trying to make a mark in the market with its its new cellphone charging thumbdrive. The device has been named ‘UBNM 1GS01′.

Features:

• 1 GB storage capacity.
• It charges your cellphone as well as synchronizes data for it.

As far as whatever information could be found out, it seemed that this device will not work with all manufacturers ie., might only support LG handsets. The price and the availability of the product is not yet known.

Thanko is out with yet another superb product, ‘The USB stealth switch’. It seems just useful when the boss is around you, one click and you seem to be working.

Thanko USB stealth switch can be connected to your PC via the USB port. It has a 170 cm long USB cable which allows your switch to be placed near your foot and as soon as someone is near you, you press the switch with your foot and the open window hides and new window pops-up.

You can always setup your preferences like which application to hide or pop-up and also password lock your personal setting after the software installation for the switch. Thus no more sudden alt+tab or other funny applications, you control your access with just one click.

White Lake is suppose to introduce ‘A $3,500 USB Key’ in the CeBIT show on March 9 in Hannover, Germany. This USB was hand made and was designed by the Dutch goldsmith Erwin de Vroome according to the sources.

According to White Lake, the “USB stick is now also available as a luxury item rather than as a plastic commodity”. It’s made of 14-carat gold and sports five polished diamonds.

“This product will open new markets for us,” said White Lake owner Rob van Berkom, in a statement. “We have sold huge amounts of personalized USB stick with logos over the past year. Our customers used them as a give-away. Some of them asked us for a more exclusive product line. This stick meets their demand, so we expect to sell quite a few of them.”

This USB Memory Stick is made of 14-carat gold and encrusted with five diamonds. It will come in 128MB, 256MB, 512MB and 1024MB storage capacities.

Very useful product, If can order this, or I get at my place I will surely buy myself this all-in-1 connector. Makes HDD handling easier. No need to open your PC cabinet incase of bigger data transfer, just plug-in the connector and your work is done.
