NeuStar acquires Followap for $139 million (Reuters)

Reuters - Telephone number and area code clearing firm NeuStar, Inc. said on Monday it acquired Followap, Inc., a UK-based provider of mobile instant messaging products, for $139 million in cash.

Report: Apple, Beatles close to iTunes deal (Macworld.com)

Macworld.com - The Beatles’ noticeable absence from Apple’s iTunes Store could soon be a thing of the past if a report in Fortune proves to be correct. The Time Warner-owned business magazine is reporting that Apple is close to a deal for putting the British rock group’s music catalog online. What’s more, Fortune reports, Apple could be on the verge of becoming the exclusive online source for Beatles downloads for a limited time.
