Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., the world’s largest provider of thin-film transistor, liquid crystal display (TFT-LCD) panels, has developed the first 70-inch LCD panel for use in the consumer TV market.

Currently, the largest LCD TV screen size is 65 inches in diameter. The company will unveil its 70-inch LCD HDTV at the International Meeting on Information Displays (IMID) 2006, which will open in Daegu, Korea on August 23.

i-Mate better known for selling HTC’s rebadged smartphones, will now be launching a new Windows Mobile phone. The phone has been named as the i-Mate JAQ.

Features:

• Runs on Windows Mobile 5.0 OS powered 200Mhz TI OMAP850 processor.
• It will feature a 2.8″ TFT screen with 64K colors.
• MiniSD card slot.
• 64MB RAM, 128MB ROM.

The official launch of our Gadget & Technology Forums
exceeded my expectations yesterday, we got well over 100 new members
who staggeringly made over 1,000 posts. It’s looking like being a very
entertaining and knowledgeable meeting place. Though I’m not sure about

Gizmodo have given out the Exclusive Microsoft Zune Picture. The Zune is said to be microsoft’s answer to the Ipod and is also called by some people as the Microsoft’s iPod killer Zune.

The player looks nice in a black shade and the photo has been shot in black n white. Reason as gizmodo says “The reason the shot is in black and white is because Microsoft assigned a unique color scheme to every Zune prototype in existence right now—all 150 of them—so any leaks could be traced to the employee who leaked it. We don’t want to be jerks and get anybody fired.”

Ahhh.. fortunately we have recovered from all the nonsense posts on this blog. A friend of mine who had the details of this blog, included some rss codes and made the blog update automatically.

We have now recovered the problem and all the backup’s have helped us to bring back the blog to a stable position. :)
