Samsung laptop with 32GB of flash memory
Its a common news by now about Samsung’s latest laptop with 32GB of flash memory but for all those who haven’t yet read about it, Samsung is out with a laptop with 32GB of flash memory at CeBIT. So whats the difference, well as the name suggest sumsung has introduced flash memory concept instead of a traditional hard drive.

Features:
- 32 GB of Flash memory.
- Ultra fast, infact Samsung showed that it was able to boot the laptop in 18 seconds(*Note:The operating system wasn’t specified) versus 31 seconds for the laptop with a regular hard disk drive.
- Being silent or zero-noise is one of the biggest characteristic of this laptop.(Thanks to Flash Memory concept)
Major disadvantage:
With every new or higher level concept or technology the price tag is also higher. Flash memory costs around $30 per gigabyte; the memory needed for the 32GB SSD drive works out to about $960*. (*Other costs are still to be taken into consideration, therefore the price may go up even further)
Samsung says: “At this moment it would be very expensive,” said Yun, “but technology is moving very fast so in the near future it could be cheaper.”
